Equinox
Chartwell, Simplicity glass
Two long glazed panels over two short solid ones. It reads as a classic four panel door, but the glass carries on further down, so more daylight reaches the hall.
- 7 glass designs
The Universal Collection: more than twenty door styles, seven standard colours, twelve sprayed ones and any RAL you like, with a smart lock option. Made to measure in the UK and fitted across Northampton.

1
Traditional or modern, lots of glass or none at all.
2
A standard multi-point lock, one that locks itself as the door shuts, or a smart lock.
3
Seven standard colours, twelve sprayed ones, or any RAL you can name.
4
Plain, etched, bevelled, coloured or with your house number in it.
5
Handle, letterplate, knocker and numerals, in seven finishes.
Every picture here is a real door from the range, photographed by the manufacturer. Use the arrows or the colour dots to see each style in other colours and glass. Any style can be made in any of the colours further down, not just the ones pictured.
Panelled doors with a moulded edge round the glass, the sort of detail a joiner would add. These suit older houses and anywhere you want the door to look like it has always been there.
13 styles
Flat faced doors with no panel mouldings and crisp, square glass frames. Most come with the glass on the left, in the centre or on the right.
7 styles
Doors for the kitchen and the garden: stable doors that open at the top, and back doors with blinds or pet flaps.

Chartwell, Simplicity glass
Two long glazed panels over two short solid ones. It reads as a classic four panel door, but the glass carries on further down, so more daylight reaches the hall.

Anthracite, Esprit glass
The door most people picture when they think of a composite front door: two glazed panels at the top, two solid ones below. It suits almost any house and has the widest choice of glass in the range.

Green, Kensington glass
A half moon window across the top with two glazed panels underneath. A good match for an older house, especially one with an arched porch or fanlight.

Devon Cream, Classic glass
Just the half moon, with four solid panels below it. More private than Luna and still lets light in at head height. Both can have a sunburst cassette in the half moon.

Chartwell, Zinc Star glass
A Georgian style door with two small panes at the top and two taller ones beneath them. Plenty of glass without losing the traditional look.

Blue, Cameo glass
The six panel Georgian door, glazed in just the two small top panes, or with no glass at all as Galaxy Solid. Smart, private and very hard to get wrong on an older house.

Red, Cameo glass
Half glazed: one large pane over two solid panels. The big glass area is where the more detailed designs look their best, and there is a grid cassette version for a cottage feel.

Anthracite, Kensington glass
Like Super Nova, but the glass has an arched top. A softer shape that sits well beside arched windows or a curved porch.

Chartwell, Kensington glass
A taller pane than Super Nova, so more light gets in, with two short solid panels at the bottom. Plain glass looks crisp in it, and so do the leaded grid designs.
Foam core (Sapphire) only.

Azure Blue, Kensington glass
Three tall panels under a shallow arched window. The most old fashioned door in the range, in a good way, and it carries a strong colour well. A centre knob fitted high up finishes it off.
Foam core (Sapphire) only.

Blue, Murano Blue glass
Farmhouse
A cottage door with one slim upright window. In the Farmhouse finish it looks like a boarded door; in Flush it is plainer and more modern.

Lightwood, Bullseye glass
Farmhouse
A cottage door with a single diamond or square window. Looks as good with brass furniture as with chrome or stainless steel.

Black, Kensington glass
Farmhouse
A boarded door with a wide window near the top, either one pane or split into three or six. It sits halfway between cottage and modern.

Anthracite, Tri Line glass
Flush
Five small square windows set at angles in a gentle curve down the door. About as bold as the range gets.
There is no letterplate option on Halo.

Aubergine, Murano Purple glass
Flush
Three diamond windows stacked down the middle of the door. Clean, symmetrical and a little bit different from what is on most streets.

Mist Grey, Prairie glass
Farmhouse, glass left
A tall window with a small square pane above and below it. Some glass designs can have an aluminium surround instead of the standard one.

Aubergine, Prairie glass
Farmhouse
One long, slim window and nothing else. It brings a strip of light into the hall and looks at home on old and new houses alike, with modern or traditional handles.

Black, Prairie glass
Corvus 4, Farmhouse, glass centre
Three or four small square windows in a column. The panes are small enough to keep the hall private, but there are enough of them to let the light through.

Fossil, Kensington glass
Monza, glass centre
The longest window in the range, running most of the height of the door. One of two doors that come in the Monza finish, and it looks its best with a long stainless bar handle.

Red, Murano Red glass
Flush
Four wide, shallow windows one above the other. A long bar handle down the side finishes it off, and the glass brings plenty of light into the hall.

Chartwell, Kensington glass
Polaris Diamond Farmhouse
Stable doors, split across the middle so the top half can open on its own. Polaris has a diamond or square window, Mercury a larger square pane. Lovely on a cottage, and handy for keeping a dog in.
A cat or dog flap can only go in the Flush finish.

White, Stippolyte glass
Super Nova Flush, cat flap
Built the same way as the front doors and in the same colours. Choose a half glazed Super Nova or a Mercury stable door, with a blind sealed inside the glass if you like, or a cat or dog flap.
The cottage and contemporary styles come in more than one surface. It changes the character of a door more than people expect, so it is worth seeing a sample.
A single door is only the start. Any style can be made as a pair, with a half width leaf, or with glazed panels beside and above it.

Any door in the range can be made as a matching pair, for a wide front entrance or a set of doors onto the garden. Traditional and modern styles both work.

A full door with a narrower matching leaf hinged beside it. Day to day you only use the main door; open the second one when a sofa or a wheelchair needs the extra width.

Glazed panels either side of the door or above it, with glass to match the door, and a house number in the glass if you want one.

For a doorway with a curved top, the frame can be made to follow the arch exactly, with or without side panels. Each one is made to measure.

Colours on screen are only a guide, and a painted door and a foiled frame never look quite identical side by side. Ask us to bring samples before you decide.
The glass does most of the work in making a door yours. These are the decorative designs; each style takes its own selection of them, which is the number on its card above, and we will show you which suit the door you like.

Zinc Star
Victorian Grid, Edwardian Grid and Gothic Grid, leaded patterns for the half glazed traditional doors.
Your number etched into Satin, Kensington or Retro glass, in the door or in a top light.
Stippolyte and Minster are textured obscure glass on their own, or behind many of the decorative designs.
Several of the decorative designs are triple glazed. On those the backing glass is fixed, so you cannot swap it for a different obscure pattern.
Handle, letterplate, knocker and numerals, all in a matching finish. Bar handles and escutcheons are the way to go on the contemporary doors; the traditional ones suit a lever handle and an urn knocker.

2DF Flag HingeThis is the part not to skimp on. Every door in the range gets the same locking, whichever style you pick, and you can add a smart lock.

Lift the handle and the hooks and bolts shoot into the frame. Then lock with the key or thumbturn.

Shut the door and the bolts engage on their own, so it is never left on the latch. Use the key or thumbturn to deadlock it.

Optional
Lock and unlock from your phone, check whether the door is locked when you are out, and get a message when someone comes in. It works with Google Home and Alexa, keeps a manual key override, and there is nothing to see on the outside of the door. It uses the same 3 star cylinder and can be fitted to a UCD door you already have.
Most styles come with a choice of core. Both are 44mm thick, with a skin that will not crack or peel and a frame inside sealed against the weather. The foam core is the warmer of the two; the timber core is heavier and feels more solid when it closes.
